Sharjah: The Sharjah Police have confiscated 11 pickup trucks that were illegally used as mobile car repair workshops. These trucks provided tyre repair services to vehicles on the road shoulder of some roads and highways in the emirate.
The arrest was made in cooperation with the Inspection section of the Sharjah Municipality.
Lieutenant-Colonel Ahmed bin Darwish, Director of Traffic and Patrolling section of Sharjah Police, said the move comes after it was observed that such trucks were providing unauthorised services.
“These pickup trucks were placed under surveillance and their drivers were arrested red-handed,” Lt-Col bin Darwish said.
