SERTE — His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and the accompanying delegation arrived in Serte, Libya, on Friday evening. He was received at the airport by Major General Mustafa Al Kharoubi, member of the Libyan revolutionary command and a number of Libyan ministers and officials.
The high-profile delegation will participate in the extraordinary Arab and Arab-African summits, which will be held on Saturday and Sunday respectively in the Libyan City of Serte.
Earlier, Shaikh Mohammed and the delegation accompanying him were seen off at the Dubai International Airport by Shaikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai; Shaikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai; Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Mohammed bin Rashid
Al Maktoum Foundation; Shaikh Majid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Culture and
Arts Authority; and Shaikh Mansour
bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
The delegation accompanying Shaikh Mohammed includes Shaikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister; Dr Anwar Mohammed Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs; Reem Ibrahim Al Hashimi, Minister of State; Mohammed Ibrahim Al Shaibani, Director of the Office of His Highness the Ruler of Dubai; Mohammed bin Nakhira Al Dhahiri, UAE Ambassador to Cairo and Permanent Representative to the Arab League; Lieutenant General Musbeh Rashid Al Fattan, Director of the Office of His Highness Vice-President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and Abdullah Suleiman Al Hammadi, UAE Ambassador to Libya.
