They discussed a number of Arab issues and stressed the need for a common position on relevant matters.

They also stressed the need to use Arab expertise to develop education and accelerate economic development in the Arab countries.

After a luncheon banquet hosted in his honour by Shaikh Mohammed, President Saleh visited Emirates Towers where he watched a film featuring Dubai’s vision of development.

After the film show, Shaikh Mohammed further explained his vision, stressing the pivotal role of skilled manpower in realising this vision.

He noted that the UAEis a leader in digital economy and was more reliant on its national cadres who are well-versed in this field.

President Saleh expressed his admiration for the vision evolved by Shaikh Mohammed for Dubai.

He called on UAE businessmen to invest in Yemen, saying that the country had enormous opportunities that could lead to a viable and durable economic partnership between the UAE and Yemen.
