Muna bin Kalli appointed Director of Shaikha Manal Cultural Office

On the directions of Shaikha Manal bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Women Establishment, wife of Shaikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Presidential Affairs, today announced administrative changes that included the launch of the Cultural Office of Shaikha Manal bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, dedicated to developing an integrated strategic plan aimed at strengthening the arts and culture scene within the UAE.

The changes included the new appointment of Muna bin Kalli to the position of Director of The Shaikha Manal Cultural Office, who will be responsible for managing the cultural initiatives and projects of H.H. Shaikha Manal at the local and international level. The announcement comes in parallel with the official appointment of Lamia Abdulaziz Khan as the Director of Dubai Ladies Club.

Commenting on the occasion, Mona Ghanem Al Marri, Chairperson of Dubai Women Establishment said, “This step comes in line with the vision of Shaikha Manal bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to strengthen the role of capable and gifted Emirati women by highlighting their achievements and encouraging the continued advancement of their professional careers, which in turn will allow them to become valuable contributors and partners in our Nation’s growth and development. Moreover, these decisions came in order to revive the spirit and help foster a greater standard of creativity and innovation within both institutions.”

She added, “The new appointments of Muna Bin Kalli and Lamia Abdulaziz Khan are a welcome addition to the management team, and we are confident that their contributions will have a positive effect on every aspect of both enterprises, and ensure their steady and continued growth in line with the aspirations and objectives of the Dubai Women Establishment, committed to achieving the ambitions and vision of Shaikha Manal bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.”
