Shaikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development, opened today the Gulf Education & Training Exhibition (GETEX Spring) at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.
The spring edition of GETEX, the Middle East’s leading education, training and professional development event, will represent more than 500 institutions and provide over 2,500 academic, vocational and training programmes to an audience of over 30,000 visitors during its three-day run.
Key highlights of this edition of GETEX include the General Education segment that will offer parents of K-12 students a host of options among international residential and boarding schools; Excellence Forums, an increasingly popular networking platform that provides students with invaluable resources and information that will assist them in making the right career choices; the Professional Development segment that will provide tools and resources to support graduates and professionals enhance their career prospects through various professional development programs; the Occupational Education segment that will offer several options for vocational courses, particularly for those who want to pursue a job-oriented programme; and the Global EDTECH Forum, a teacher’s conference integrating best practice in communicating and teaching by equipping educators with the latest tools, skills and technology in education delivery.
GETEX will also introduce a unique Business School cluster in light of the growing interest in entrepreneurship and business education in the UAE and across the region, making it easier for students to choose from available courses being offered by prestigious academic institutions.
