ABU DHABI — A high-level delegation of the National Anti-Money Laundering Committee (NAMLC) will pay a 10-day visit to the Far Eastern countries including Japan, Korea, and China in November, to enhance cooperation on anti-money laundering initiatives. The team will be led by the governor of the UAE Central Bank, Sultan Nasser Al Suwaidi.
A meeting of NAMLC was held on Monday under the chairmanship of Al Suwaidi, which discussed the report of a team of experts on evaluation of laws, regulations, and procedures implemented in the UAE to counter money laundering.
