New multi-speciality clinic opens in Dubai

DUBAI — A new multi-speciality clinic under Dr Moopen’s Group, dubbed the Elixir Medical Centre, has been opened for operating along Shaikh Zayed Road and promises to provide comprehensive medical services at international standards to the region’s diverse and growing population.

The three-story building of the clinic is located at the first interchange and is set on an 8,000 square metres plot of land that includes a covered car park.

The clinic is one of a number of projects undertaken by the group, whose total projected investment in the healthcare sector over the next five years is estimated at $100 million.

The clinic’s state-of-the-art facilities are organised in a comfortable setting with a patient-friendly ambience. An experienced team of specialists and a multi-lingual staff will ensure that patients of all nationalities will receive personalised attention and expert care.

Among the medical departments that are up and running are general and family medicine department, internal medicine, cardiology, orthopaedics, ENT and dental as well as physiotherapy. The clinic will soon have facilities for radiology, medical imaging and a laboratory.

Addressing the Wellness and Aesthetics aspect of healthcare, departments like dermatology, cosmetology, cosmetic dentistry and plastic surgery will soon be added. The Mind Body Concept of Holistic Medicine will also be catered to, through facilities that will be added soon for Ayurveda and Yoga Therapy. The facilities will provide traditional massage and weight reduction programme supervised by qualified dieticians and physiotherapists.

Dr Moopen’s Group, with a vision to provide quality healthcare at affordable prices, has established a wide network of neighbourhood family clinics, pharmacies, polyclinics and diagnostic centres across the Gulf region.

The group’s future plans include the expansion of the current network of 24 medical institutions and pharmacies to 100 over the next five years with a projected investment of $100 million.
