New multivitamin tablet introduced

DUBAI - Novartis Consumer Health on Sunday launched a new multivitamin and mineral food supplement tablet, Dynamisan, which contains minerals, vitamins, amino acids and Ginseng extract. One tablet a day, Novartis says, will restore lost energy and reinforce mental and physical vitality.

Nihal Hakeem, Brand Manager, Gulf, Novartis Consumer Health, addressed the Press at the Emirates Towers Hotel and reaffirmed Novartis Consumer Health's commitment to providing innovative safe and quality products with the aim of making a positive impact on people's lives.

Dynamisan was placed on the market in the UAE last week. It was launched in Bahrain and Qatar last month and Novartis also hopes to launch its unique dietary supplement in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon and Jordan soon.

"This is the first dietary supplement of its kind with this selection of amino acids, minerals, vitamins and Ginseng extract, which have both complementary and anti-oxidant qualities. The amino acid Arginine, for example, plays a key role in cellular functions and interactions that take place in immune responses and inflammations," Ms Hakeem said.

She said that Ginseng enhances the immune function, and improves both physical and mental performance. Glutamine, another component of Dynamisan, is a basic element in the function of human memory and other cognitive functions.
