The Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation (MBRF) - a member of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives - has concluded the activities of the second Nobel Museum Exhibition.
The exhibition was organised for nearly three months from February 21 to May 30 in the Children's City in Dubai Creek Park under the theme, 'Exploring life: The Nobel Prize in Medicine or Physiology'.
As part of the concluding ceremony, the MBRF honoured the sponsors of the exhibition, including entities from the public and private sectors as well as the media, in recognition of their support and contribution to the success of the event.
Earlier, the foundation had announced that the Nobel Museum Exhibition would be hosted in a number of cities in the UAE as well as other Arab and Islamic countries, based on the directives of His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. This will extend the reach of the exhibition to various Arab and Islamic countries.
Jamal bin Huwaireb, managing director of MBRF, said: "The event was another significant step for MBRF in its efforts to enrich knowledge among all sections of the society, especially students, academics, scientists and specialists in key areas. It attracted considerable attention with its innovative and interactive presentations, highlighting Dubai's unique capability to host events that stimulate the concepts of innovation and creativity in communities and encourage future generations to embrace knowledge."
Nobel Museum Exhibition in its second year featured seven sections, offering insights on a number of issues in an interactive manner.
As part of the event, MBRF organised the 'Nobel Prize Series 2016' event, which included special panel sessions and lectures aimed at promoting the concepts of creativity and innovation among young people.
