DUBAI - The festive spirit of Onam will be evident among the inmates of the Wade Adams labour camp at Jebel Ali today when more than 3,000 workers get together for an elaborate programme within the campus.
The function will start at 11.30am and continue upto 9.20pm with a floral decoration or pookalam competition and the presence of the mythical King Mahabali after whom the festival is celebrated. This will be followed by traditional folk performances and Onam Sadhya. The Indian Consul-General, Yash Sinha, will be the chief guest on the occasion.
