Said to be the only licensed university by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, CUD Principal Dr Karim Chelli told Khaleej Times, “More than 400 students have enrolled this semester for our Under-graduate and Post-Graduate courses. Four of our UG courses have been accredited by the ministry and a few more will be accredited in the course of this academic year.”
He added that CUD has signed Memorandums of Understanding with University of New Brunswick and Athabasca University in Canada and a university in France to aid students to study abroad transfer their credits, if they are interested.
According to the university, students from about 70 nationalities including locals, Iranians, Indians, Pakistanis, Canadians, British and Americans have enrolled in the university this year.
