At least 59 Indian fishermen were arrested in Pakistan for poaching in the country's waters, the media reported on Friday.
Â"The Indian fishermen were arrested by the Maritime Security Agency (MSA) on Thursday while they were fishing in the Pakistani limits of the Arabian Sea,Â" said a senior official.
Most of the arrested fishermen, he said, belonged to the Indian state of Gujarat Dawn online.
The fresh arrest of Indian fishermen came days after the two countries released imprisoned fishermen.
On March 6, Pakistan released some 87 Indian fishermen and then only after two weeks, on March 20, it freed 86 more, who left for Lahore by train in the afternoon where they were handed over to Indian authorities at the Wagah border.
On March 17, nine Pakistani fishermen were freed by India after they had spent some 17 months in the Jamnagar jail in Gujarat.
