A special panel set under the chairmanship of Sultan Saeed Al Badi, Ministry’s Under-Secretary, will meet in the evening after the ‘Maghreb’ prayers at the Sharia Judiciary Department in Abu Dhabi to receive information on moon sighting and contact neighbouring countries for the purpose.

The minister urged any Muslim who sights the crescent to quickly inform the Ramadan Moon Sighting Committee through telephone numbers 02-4448300, 02-4448682 or 02-4448671, or by coming in person to the nearest Sharia Court.
