Dubai Police has added another supercar to its fleet of luxury patrol vehicles.
The Tourist Police department unveiled the new McLaren luxury cars assigned to join the Dubai police patrol as the luxury S570 is the first of its kind to carry the new logo Expo 2020.
Lt. Col. Dr. Mubarak Saeed Bnoas, Director of the Tourist Police Department at the General Department of Criminal Investigation said that the car was equipped with the latest police equipment, including high-quality surveillance cameras linked to the operations room and programs that serve police work. It is equipped with a 570 horsepower engine in the back, not the front with a top speed of up to 338 km/h.
The fleet of luxury supercars patrol tourist areas and heritage sites that are frequented by tourists and visitors, including the Burj Khalifa, Dubai Mall, GPRS, Burj Al Arab, Jumeirah area, and places of heritage and ancient markets.

The luxury cars are being driven by trained men and women officers, who serve tourists and to answer their questions, and provide them with information about Dubai tourist police application if they wish to submit observations and complaints.
Lt. Col. Bnoas said that this luxury car reflects upscale and cultural level of the UAE in general and Dubai in particular, he said, adding that Dubai was selected to host the Expo 2020 so it is important to provide services that represents Dubai.

He pointed out that the luxury patrol cars are equipped with the same equipment as other security patrol cars of Dubai Police, visa-vis hi-tech and highly advanced cameras and computers linked directly to the Dubai Chamber of police operations room.
