Plot demarcation papers to be issued online

ABU DHABI - The Municipality of Abu Dhabi City has commissioned the process of issuing land plots demarcation certificates online. This will help reduce the processing of transactions and will automatically update the base map through the daily transactions of buildings carried out in the emirate.

The step is part of the Municipality’s endeavour to simplify the processes, save customers’ time and effort, and reduce the reliance on paper 
transactions.

Acting CEO of Town Planning Sector of the Municipality, said the issuance of demarcation certificates online is part of a package of services offered by the municipality to ensure an efficient processing of customer transactions.

“Plots demarcation service is linked with the other associated services such as issuing building concentration certificates, verifying the external boundaries certificate and final survey certificate. All these certificates are issued on the basis of the primary plot demarcation certificate. Spatial Data Division will seek to link these applications with the remaining applications to be introduced in future to ensure the consistency of all projects,”he added.

Diriector of Spatial Data, explained issuing of demarcation certificates online comprises receiving an application for demarcation by the coordinator, entering the details in the system and referring them automatically to the Quality Control Officer for verification.
