Abu Dhabi is getting ready to celebrate the 45th National Day, and as part of the preparations, a portion of Al Bateen Beach will be closed from November 7 to 15, the Abu Dhabi Municipality announced on Saturday.
Al Bateen Beach will serve as a platform for the celebrations to be held by the municipality and Red Crescent Authority.
The beach will see some massive uplift with kiosks, stage settings, tents, play area for children and a traditional activity area among others.
The municipality, meanwhile, has started the decoration works in other parts of the city and suburban areas.
Thousands of flags and lighting arrangements are set to add glitz to the festivities.
Also, Flag Day celebrations are continuing across the city.
