Muslims from all nationalities united through prayers to support Palestinian Muslims in the Gaza strip who are currently under attack by Israel.

More than 400 Gazans, including children, have died while over 1,700 have been wounded in the week-long attacks.

The SMS urged all Muslims to read Chapter 48 ‘Al Fath’ from the Holy Quran to ask Allah for His help and victory for the Palestinian Muslims in the ongoing war. The Surah deals with the great victory that Allah granted to the Holy Prophet (Peace be upon him) and the Muslims in the form of the Truce of Hudaibiyah in AH 6.

The four-point Hudaibiyah treaty is historically considered a great victory because it acknowledged the existence of an Islamic state while the Quraish (disbelievers who had barred Muslims from proceeding to Ka’abah for the past six years) acknowledged the right of pilgrimage.

The suspension of hostilities also allowed the Muslims to preach Islam in such a way that within two years, the number of people who embraced Islam exceeded the number of the previous 19 years.
