Ibrahim Moosa, Head of the Human Resources Development Section in the Personnel Department, said the course comes as part of the municipality's efforts to equip its staff with advanced skills in their respective areas of service.
Mr Moosa said that the course, designed for heads of sections and units as well as engineers, would provide the participants with an integrated approach to the management of projects and enable them to undertake the work of the projects in a structured manner.
He said that the course, with participation from 12 employees, would be held at the Municipality Staff Club.
Mr Moosa said another course, "Services and Activities of Children's Libraries'' would be organised during the same period at Hor Al Anz Public Library, which will be attended by 14 employees of the civic body.
Another training programme "Excellence in Customer Relations in Public Sector" is also being organised from tomorrow at the Staff Club. The course, which will end on Tuesday, will have 24 employees from different departments and sections of the civic body participating.
