A first-of-its kind, new armoured vehicle has been added to the land fleet of the Ras Al Khaimah Police.
The vehicle is equipped with a number of special and sophisticated devices, pointed out Major General Ali Abdullah bin Alwan Al Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of the RAK Police.
"It is locally-made and is to be used in special tasks. The vehicle has special plating."
"This is the first-of its-kind armoured vehicle to be used by the RAK Police."
Meanwhile, the RAK Police have also acquired a new speed motorboat for vigil along the sea.
"The highly equipped speed boat is to be used in special tasks, particularly in nabbing criminals."
