RAK School Gets MoE Support in the Form of Equipment

RAS AL KHAIMAH - More than 600 students at Ahmed Bin Majid School for Boys in Ras Al Khaimah received modern education equipment as support from the Ministry of Education (MoE), Fairs & Exhibition (F&E), and the organisers Gulf Educational Supplies and Solutions (GESS).

The equipment received by the school will help support the school’s academic achievements besides a demonstration of F&E’s ongoing partnership with the MoE in supporting education in the UAE by providing access to world-class resources for schools.

With support from key GESS exhibitors, Promethean, Al Mazroui Medical and Chemical Supplies and Palmer Hamilton Europe Ltd, the school received a state-of-the-art ActivBoard+2 300 Pro model whiteboard, two extensive science kits and a Palmer Hamilton Folding Dining Table.

In addition F&E donated 10 new HP computers to the school.

Sue Rothwell, group event director, F&E said, “As the only regional show in the Middle East to address the entire spectrum of educational needs, GESS is the ideal platform from which to support UAE schools. We are committed to ensuring that students in the Middle East have access to the best learning environment possible.”

Commenting on the donations, Majeed Sharaf, vice president, Promethean, Middle East said, “It is tremendously rewarding to be able to assist schools.”
