Mohammed Ibrahim Al Hamadi, Deputy RCA Secretary General for Local Affairs, said that about 100 food parcels in addition to quantities of rice and meat were also distributed.

The project has contributed to enhanced public awareness about the importance of showing compassion and kindness towards the sufferings of the disadvantaged groups of the society.

Preservation of Grace is divided into several sections with an aim to reduce the waste of food and other commodities and reach out to needy families in all possible ways through the redistribution of food, clothes, furniture and medicine.

The project doesn’t differentiate between citizens and residents, regardless of their nationality or religion.

Since its launch in 2005, the humanitarian project has alleviated the suffering of thousands of needy families, orphans and unpaid labourers.
