Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them
Well, this is the big one. The Harry Potter universe returns to our screens this weekend and it can't come soon enough. It has been five long years since Harry and the gang (spoiler alert) defeated Voldemort and since then Potter fans have been eagerly awaiting what may spring forth from J.K. Rowling's incredible mind.
The play, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, released in July, went a long way to assuage any feelings of abandonment, but this full-length feature will no doubt have fans bouncing off the rafters.
With a screenplay penned by Rowling and nods to characters we are all familiar with, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them es-tablishes a prequel Potter universe before the rise of You Know Who.
Set in the Roaring Twenties, Eddie Redmayne stars as Newt Scamander an eccentric wizard famed for his handling of magical creatures. He travels to America with his bag of beasts. What could go wrong?
Rotten Tomatoes gives it 930
Trivia: The series has already been given four sequels
A Street Cat Named Bob
It's a weepy, but a good weepy. taking everybody's penchant for Youtube cat videos and making a movie out of it, A Street Cat Named Bob charts the story of homeless drug addict James.
Just when he has reached rock bottom he is given one final chance - a flat of his own. James cleans up and begins busking . one evening, he wakes to find a cat, Bob, has broken in and is busy eating his cornflakes.
So begins a tale of dependency and friendship between man and animal. We don't like it, but we see its appeal. Rotten tomatoes gives it 74%trivia:the director of this also helmed tom hanks classic Turner and Hooch.

The Good Neighbour
Imagine the film Disturbia and then imagine it a little worse. this is what you've got with The Good Neighbour.
Convinced the old guy next door is a creep, tech nerds ethan and Sean set up cameras all around his house. they then subject this poor old codger to a series of surprises in order to convince him that his house is haunted. the old dude doesn't fall for the tricks, electing to spend the evenings down in his basement. What does he keep down there, the duo ask themselves. one night ethan goes in to find out.
SPOILER: With the most disappointing consequences perhaps ever committed to film.
Rotten Tomatoes gives it 11%
Trivia: this is truly awful.
Bleed For This
This one is probably the second best bet of the week behind Fantastic Beasts.
A good sports biography always goes down well and this one is about boxing, which makes it a tad more jeopardy filled than, say, lawn bowls.
American Vinny Paz is horrifically injured in the ring though he refuses to give up the sport he loves.
Rotten Tomatoes gives it 71%
Trivia: It stars Footloose's Miles Teller
