Work on the ‘Al Qasba Tornado Fountain’ is under way.

“Qanat Al Qasba recently underwent a series of landscape modifications in order to give the destination a new look while holding fast to its original Arabian values, and the Al Qasba Tornado Fountain is part of this beautification project,” said Marwan Al Sarkal, CEO of the Qanat Al Qasba Development Authority, on Tuesday.

“Water is a wonderful natural plaything. With today’s technology it can be used in a lot of ways. The Al Qasba Tornado Fountain will mark this special destination with its amazing display of waterworks where water jets will leap up and dance in tune with a majestic symphony in the backdrop of special light effects. Children and adults alike are sure to love it,” said Al Sarkal.

A group of hydraulic and computer engineers would design and create the right equipment for the site, he added. The fountain is being built next to the Eye of the Emirates, the highest observatory wheel in the region.
