Sailor gets life term for drug trafficking

DUBAI - The Dubai Criminals Court on Monday sentenced a sailor to life imprisonment on charges of drug trafficking and a policeman to four years in jail for consuming narcotics. M.P.M, an Iranian who works on a ship, was found guilty of trading in narcotics.

The anti-drugs squad laid down a bait to catch the man red-handed. M.P.M confessed to the crime after he was nabbed with drug in his possession.
