‘Sama Dubai’ launch today

The channel Sama Dubai will broadcast a series of local programme aimed at promoting Dubai in particular and the UAE in general.

Hassan Ali Lootah, Executive Manager, DMI, said it is time for constituting a media facility that projects to the world the innovative horizons of Dubai, the city that contains international intellectual tissue and witnesses civilised development in all life walkways.

Abdullateef Al Gergawi, channel’s manager, said that the channel will present to the world the UAE talents. its the culture and heritage, achievements and innovations.

The channel will be launched on Arabsat, Nilesat and hotbird via a programmed titled “Dubai Al Multaqa”, which is a TV magazine that highlights various economic, social and cultural activities being held and witnessed in the emirate. Variety programmes on music, films, economy and investments, etc will also be broadcast.
