Sarod maestro to perform today
Ustad Amjad Ali Khan, one of the greatest masters of sarod, will perform today evening at Crowne Plaza, Deira as part of a conference organised by Lions Club of Trivandrum Oasis.

A recipient of India’s prestigious civilian order Padma Vibhushan, the maestro will give his sarod recital accompanied by his sons Ayaan Ali Khan and Amaan Ali Khan, the seventh generation musicians in his family.
Sarod is a stringed musical instrument, used mainly in Indian classical music.
Along with sitar, it is the most prominent instrument in Hindustani classical music.
