Saudi Arabia is preparing to celebrate its 90th National Day on Wednesday with a massive air show, dazzling fireworks, and concerts across the country under the guidance of Turki Al-Sheikh, the chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Entertainment Authority (GEA).
The air show, which will be the largest ever for the National Day celebrations, will involve 60 military and civilian aircraft.
The Saudi TV Channel will broadcast the event at 4pm local time (5pm UAE) on September 23.
According to Saudi Gazette, the National Day festivities will epitomise the motto Himma Hatta Al-qimma (Passion to the Top) and reflect Saudi cohesion, loyalty and pride.
The GEA also launched a venture called "We sing to our country" where the audience will participate with a hashtag and a personal video of them singing the national anthem.
Selected videos will be used to produce a comprehensive artwork reflecting the spirit of national participation.
Concerts featuring Arab stars will also be organized in Riyadh, Jeddah, and Dammam from September 22 to 26.
