As a paramedic, he has been saving lives for 16 years but a recent traffic accident in Saudi left him surprised.
The Saudi paramedic Fiyhan Aliyan Aljabry from the Saudi Red Crescent in Medina was shocked to find his 12-year-old brother and nephew among the victims in a traffic accident.
According to news website Al Arabiya, Fiyhan said that it was the hardest situation he has ever faced in his life. He arrived at the accident spot on receiving the information and found his younger brother with severe injuries on his head and feet. His brother lost his life in the accident.
"I didn't know if I should hug my young brother or rescue the other injured people," he said, adding that he knew his brother was dead when he saw his injured body. He tried to calm himself down and called the civil defense, asking for more ambulances.
Fiyhan said that he rescued his nephew, Adel, who suffered from a fracture on his thigh and arm, along with few some scratches.
Four people were killed - his brother, the driver of the other vehicle involved in the accident and two girls. Three of the injured were treated, including Fiyhan's nephew.
After the incident,  Fiyhan has decided to write a book sharing his real-life stories. He wants to explain the importance of helping people in serious accidents.
