Scholarships for MoE staff pursuing Master’s degree in Dubai

This is in line with ministry's efforts to improve and develop the capabilities of its national human resources and aid their professional development.

From the next academic year, five employees from the ministry would be given scholarships under a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the ministry and British University in Dubai.

The MoU signed by Shaikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Emirates airline and Chancellor of British University in Dubai (BUiD), and Minister of Education Dr Hanif Hassan will ensure cooperation and partnership between both parties and enhance the initiatives of supporting and qualifying UAE human resources to achieve the country's goals and development plans.

Shaikh Ahmed said, "The agreement supports the goals of the British University in communicating with the members of the society and education institutes and supporting the development programmes and reform plans of the UAE. We do hope that the agreement enhances various activities in relation to scholarships, academic researches, common research projects and educational consultancies."

BUiD will provide five scholarships to the two-year Master's programmes in education and administration beginning next academic year and the ministry will nominate candidates from various departments to develop their professional performance through the university's academic programmes.`Employees from the Ministry of Education can now pursue Master's degree in education and administration in a university in Dubai as part of the ministry's efforts to improve and develop the capabilities of its national human resources and aid their professional development.
