DUBAI — The Dubai National Private School (DNPS), Al Diyafah branch, will cease to operate from this academic year. The students' parents, along with administrative and teaching staff, have been notified of the closure.

Some 500 male and female students, besides 80 administrative and teaching personnel are expected to be accommodated in the group's other branches in Tawar and Barsha.
The school's management have taken the decision as they could not find a suitable building to run the school because the current building was not in a good condition. The school administration had duly informed all authorities concerned — the Education Ministry, the Dubai Education Zone, the Knowledge Authority, and the Dubai Education Council — of the decision.
