Among the equipment provided is a special wireless audio transmitter worn by the teacher that ensures even children with profound hearing loss can hear what the teacher is saying. The teacher's voice is transmitted via an FM radio frequency to special bi-aural hearing aids worn on the students' belts, allowing individual volume adjustment and total freedom of movement.

'We are delighted with Mashreqbank's donation of this equipment as it will so much improve our ability to teach hearing impaired children,' said Shaikha Jamila bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Chairperson of the Sharjah City For Humanitarian Services (SCHS).

'Shaikha Jamila and her dedicated team do so much good for children with special needs and need all the support they can get from the public and private sector to help integrate them into the community,' said Abdul Aziz Al Ghurair, CEO of Mashreqbank.
