Islamabad: Seven opposition parties will make seat adjustment against the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) in the upcoming local government elections in the province, Pakistan People's Party's (PPP) Central Punjab chairman Manzoor Wattoo has said.
Speaking to the media after a meeting of representatives of the PPP, the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaaf, the Pakistan Awami Tehreek, the Jamaat-e-Islami, the Jamiat-e-Ulema Pakistan, the Majlis Wahdatul Muslimeen and the Sunni Itthead Council, Wattoo said the parties had decided to let their district-level leadership choose candidates to be fielded against PML-N contestants in the polls scheduled for October 31.
