Shaikh Mohammed orders 9 Dubai Municipality officials to retire

The change was part of Shaikh Mohammed's keenness to allow a new generation of young leaders capable of bearing responsibility for development during the next phase.

Nine senior officials from the Dubai Municipality were sent on retirement by His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai on Monday evening, according to an Arabic report on Dubai Media Office website.

The change was part of Shaikh Mohammed's keenness to allow a new generation of young leaders capable of bearing responsibility for development during the next phase, and consistent with the basic standards set by the government of Dubai to work in various departments and bodies in order to provide the highest quality services to the dealers and at all times.

Officials retiring include: Abdel Qader Al Jassimi, executive director of the Department of Legal Affairs and Legal Counsel of Dubai Municipality, Engineer Essa Al Maidoor, Deputy Director General, Mohamed Abdul Karim Julfar, Assistant Director General for institutional support, and Khaled Ali Ahmed bin Zayed Al Falasi, Assistant Director General for communication and society, Engineer Abdullah Mohammad Rafi, Assistant Director General for Engineering and planning sector, Eng. Salah Amiri, Assistant Director General for environment and public Health Services, and Eng Salim bin Musmar, Assistant Director General for environment and Health supervision and safety, Obaid Salem Al Shamsi, Assistant Director General public support for the sector, Engineer Khalid Mohammed Saleh Al Mulla, Director of the Building management municipality.
