DUBAI -- Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum will honour the winners of Dubai Government Excellence Program Awards (DGEP) 2011 in a ceremony at the Rashid Hall at Dubai World Trade Centre tomorrow.
A number of Shaikhs, ministers, officials, directors of government departments, key personalities in addition to journalists and Dubai Government employees will attend the ceremony. Some 27 government entities in the emirate of Dubai with 353 nominees are competing for the awards.
Individual categories include 25 nominees for distinguished government employee, 23 nominees for distinguished administrative and Financial employee,15 nominees for distinguished technical and engineering employee, 18 nominees for distinguished field employee, 20 nominees for the category of distinguished employee in specialised job, 21 nominations for distinguished female employee and 19 for distinguished new employee.
In distinguished administrative categories there are 27 nominees for distinguished financial government, nine nominees for distinguished eGovernment category, nine nominees for distinguished joint government project category, 11 nominees for distinguished technical project, 18 nominees for distinguished administrative initiative, 14 nominees for distinguished team performance, best customer satisfaction and best in employees satisfaction besides other categories.
