Sharjah DED participates at global food exhibition

Sharjah Department of Economic Development (SDED) participated in SIAL Exhibition in Paris, France, through the UAE pavilion. The exhibition is one of the biggest food exhibitions in the world, with 6,000 exhibitors from 106 countries and 13,000 visitors from 200 countries.

The UAE’s pavilion included a number of well-known Emirati food and beverage companies.

Abdelaziz Omar Al Midfa, deputy director of government communication department at SEDD, said, “SIAL Exhibition, which is held once every two years, is a global exhibition in the field of nutrition. Through our participation, we aimed to highlight Sharjah and promote the services it offers.” He pointed out that the exhibition provided the opportunity to local companies to meet with the representatives of international companies and promote their products to a global audience.
