SHARJAH — Sharjah Police have made elaborate plans to ensure smooth traffic movement on the emirate’s roads during the Eid holidays.
Brig. Salih Al Mutawa, director-general of Sharjah Police, has instructed police officers to ensure safety and security in all parts of the emirate.
Speaking to Khaleej Times, Brig Al Mutawa said that patrolling would be intensified during the Eid days at malls, shopping centres, public entertainment centres, and beach areas.
He said that traffic patrolling too would be intensified on the internal roads and streets in the emirate to prevent any traffic bottlenecks.
