Sharjah's Al Khan beaches will be safer for beach-goers as they will be monitored by the lifeguards and related safety personnel.
Khidmah, a property solutions provider, said it had been awarded a contract to manage the beaches by the Sharjah Municipality.
While overseeing more than 13 miles of beaches, it will provide lifeguards and related services for Al Khan 1&2 in Sharjah, as well as related training and support.
Khidmah currently manages beaches in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah, employing over 200 lifeguards to serve developments, hotels, and communities across the UAE.
"Khidmah is proud to be one of the few comprehensive service providers in the UAE. We operate a First Aid and Lifeguard Training Centre, in addition to providing pool and beach lifeguard services, as well as a wide array of services for the property developer and housing sectors," said Abdulla Al Qamzi, managing director of Khidmah. "Our expertise is now widely recognized by our industry peers and leaders, highlighting our solid position as an integrated facilities solution provider."
