Sheikh Mohammed promotes official

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has issued a decree to promote Brigadier Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri to the rank of major-general. Al Marri is serving as the director of the general department of the security bodies.
Lieutenant-General Dhahi Khalfan Tamim, Deputy Chief of Police and Public Security in Dubai, thanked Sheikh Mohammed for his decision. "The confidence shown by the leaders to the sons of the homeland is very much appreciable," said Dhahi Khalfan.
He also praised the efforts of Major-General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri and his dedication and loyalty in the performance of his duty in the service of the homeland and achieving security.
