ABU DHABI — Over 98 per cent of exhibition space at the forthcoming International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition has already been booked, prompting the General Exhibition Corporation, organisers of the event, to add 1,000 square metres more to accommodate new participants.
“The available space will be in excess of 6,000 square metres, a 30 per cent increase compared to last year,” said Mohammed Khalaf Al Mazroui, head of the organising committee and member of the board of directors of the Emirates Falconers’ Club.
The exhibition from September 12 to 16, the largest of its kind in the Gulf and the Middle East, will be held under the patronage of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Shaikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
“Last year’s event was a resounding success. This year’s event will be larger in terms of participation and response,” said Al Mazroui.
