‘SMS Charity’ campaign during Ramadan by du

DUBAI — du will be launching an SMS Charity campaign during Ramadan wherein it will contribute the equivalent of the first SMS sent by each of its subscribers every day during the holy month, to charity.

The amount will vary depending on whether the first SMS sent is national or international and the total amount collected will be donated to the UAE Red Crescent Society.

In addition, du aims to facilitate customers’ experience of the true Ramadan spirit this year through the du sponsored tents in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Also lined up is: the Dh1 mobile line - Pay as you Go customers will pay Dh155 and get back Dh154 as Free airtime. Monthly Plan customers will pay Dh125 and get back Dh124 as credit on their monthly bill. They will also get 1 fils of free credit for every second of international calls.

Customers will also enjoy exciting Islamic content on the Special Ramadan Zone on MyWorld. They will have access to Ramadan wallpapers, ringtones, themes and videos. Customer will also have the choice of downloading Quran, Hadeeth and Douaa content.

Freej fans will now be able to download Freej wallpaper, ringtones, clips and mobi-sodes (short versions of each TV episode) exclusively on their mobile phones.

du has also secured partnership agreements for Ramadan tents in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. These tents will provide an authentic Ramadan experience for its customers and for the wider community.
