"The children put in a lot of effort to put together the cultural show and everyone present were impressed by their talent and dedication, " said Safia Bari, Director of SNF Support Centre.

During the month-long summer camp, special needs children took part in activities including art and craft, singing, colouring, painting and visits to malls, movies and water parks.

Parents attended informative talks by specialists working with special needs children. Volunteers also assisted with the camp.

The centre had been using the facilities of the Indian High School and was recently granted a licence to open its own facility.

The new facility will be partly funded by Damas who has been associated with SNF for the last 3 months.

Safia Bari started SNF Support Centre five years ago with just four families. The centre now has 140 families as members.
