The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) in Dubai is offering another single-digit number plate (Q 2) in a public auction, following the huge success of the recent auction debut of a single digit plate (D 5). The auction is being held at Godolphin Ballroom, Emirates Towers Hotel in Dubai. About 91 distinctive vehicle plates are being offered including 2, 3, 4 and 5-digit plates.
"The 92nd Auction was hugely popular as it attracted about 500 bidders; reflecting a remarkable increase over the previous attendance figures. It has provided a considerable boost to our third strategic goal (People Happiness), and prompted us to offer another chance to the public to engage in a positive competition by offering a new single-digit plate (Q 5) over & above an array of dazzling two, three, four and five-digit plates bearing various codes," said Ahmed Bahrozyan, CEO of RTA Licensing Agency.
About 91 striking plates are being offered in the auction where dual digit plates are highlighted by (I 10), triple digit plates are topped by (C 888), quadruple plates are featured by (L 11111), and quintet plates are capped by (C 55555). During the auction, a draw will be made on Plate (P 479) and will be given as a complimentary gift to one of the attending bidders as a means of bringing added happiness to clients.
