The order is given to high-level personalities like ministers, international figures and ambassadors who were outstanding in the performance of their duties of boosting bilateral ties between Sudan and their respective countries.
The minister expressed profound happiness and gratitude for the honour done him. He said his performance during his tenure reflects the translation into actions of the directives of President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, General Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Foreign Minister, Shaikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to boost bilateral ties with Sudan.
'These relationship is a continuation of the historic policy of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan (May his soul rest in peace) who strived to consolidate UAE's ties with this sister country since the early seventies of the last century until these ties became a model at the Arab states level,' he added.
