DUBAI — Etisalat has announced that it is a Gold sponsor of the Privatisation Summit to be held in Abu Dhabi today and tomorrow. Held under the patronage of Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, the summit will compare experiences gained during privatisation in states, countries and industries. Mohammed Hassan Omran, Chief Executive Officer, Etisalat, will present Etisalat’s experience during the opening of the telecommunications market. This summit will also feature senior government officials and prominent industry representatives presenting their views and experiences.

Ahmed bin Ali, Manager Public Relations, Etisalat, said: “We are looking forward to an interactive and beneficial summit. The focus of the speakers and discussions will be on the opportunities for growth in the region, and the key areas of interest are utilities, financial markets, oil and gas, and telecommunications.”
