DUBAI — A statement issued by the UAE Consumer Co-operative Society said that the UAE cabinet decision which rejected the commercial alliance between suppliers and producers has protected the consumers by stabilising prices in the UAE markets.
The cabinet had instructed the Ministry of Finance and Industry and the Ministry of Economy and Planning to coordinate and implement the cabinet decision by preventing any alliance which would lead to a hike in the prices or put additional burden on UAE residents.
According to the statement the cooperation between UAE cooperatives and the Ministry of Economy and Planning has assisted in the implementation of the cabinet decision.
