Surgery removes nasal fungal infection

The team, headed by Dr Ahmed Al Emaadi, Technical Director and ENT Head at the hospital, performed the surgery to remove a persisting fungal infection for a UAE national who had been transferred from Al Qassimi Hospital. “Because the case was dangerous, we did several x-rays and CT scans,” said Dr Al Emaadi. The infection was located beside the eye and skull.

Ahmed Al Khudaim, Director of the hospital, said that the ministry aims to develop all the hospital’s facilities and provide all the modern medical equipment.
