The Eco-Villa is a full-furnished four-bedroom house, designed to be supremely energy-efficient.
It uses about 72 per cent less electricity and 35 per cent less water than a standard villa of the same size.
It has 89 rooftop solar panels that will generate the same amount of electricity that it consumes from the Abu Dhabi grid.

The villa is ready for occupancy and a family will be moving in by the end of March.
The concept for the sustainable villas was launched in April 2015.
"With nearly eight million people expected to live in the UAE’s urban centres by 2020, this rising population increases the imperative to design high-quality sustainable homes that use fewer natural resources than existing homes," the company said at the time of the launch.
