Nawaz had gone with a group of more than 10 friends for swimming.

A source from Ras Al Khaimah Hotel said Nawaz, while learning to swim, reached the deeper end of the swimming pool and struggled to get out of the water. His friends and the pool guard at the hotel tried to get him out of the pool but to no avail. However, the Civil Defence team reached the scene and rescued him. He was admitted to Saqr Hospital. Doctors at the hospital said Nawaz would get back to normal soon.
