A lot of people are still asking the question of how to get to Dubai's newest spectacle - the Dubai Canal which recently opened a few weeks back has been attracting expats and locals from across the emirate and even in other emirates such as Sharjah. But there are still a huge number of people trying to figure out how to reach the Canal. A quick Google search alone will carry the question. So how does one exactly go there? Here's how.
By Car
The easiest way to get to the Canal by car is to go on the side of Shaikh Zayed Road headed towards the Dubai World Trade Centre. Before even reaching the newly elevated area of the highway, there is an exit that is beside St. Regis Hotel. Take this exit which will take you underneath Shaikh Zayed Road and you can park your car underneath the bridge. Parking fees apply.

By Metro
The easiest and most cost-efficient way to reach the Canal is thru the Metro. Whichever point in the city you are, take the Metro towards UAE Exchange MS and drop off at Business Bay. Cross the bridge towards the other side of the road and walk towards the Shaikh Zayed Road Bridge. There will be a lift beside the walkway and this will take you straight into the heart of the Canal.
