The holy month of Ramadan encourages Muslims and non-Muslims to come together for generous causes and charitable activities. Riding on that spirit of Ramadan, this new ad by Surf Excel Pakistan could give you tears of joy.
The ad which is breaking the internet both in India and Pakistan shows little kids in a Ramadan charged atmosphere, setting an example of generosity and giving. While people roam around in a market, shopping and eating, a little boy wearing a new shirt (kurta) spots an old samosa and jalebi vendor with a broken down vending cart. He and his friends start picking up and placing the samosas in the fold of their clothes and start selling them to the crowd. In the process they stain their clothes, but oh well, it's all worth it.
"Helping someone is also an act of faith. And if your clothes get stained while helping someone, then stains are good," says the commercial.
